Does ScanAttendance require a constant internet connection?

A stable internet connection is required for the QR scan to verify and sync in real time. On the Pro and Enterprise plans, the app queues check-in attempts if the connection drops and syncs them as soon as it is restored, so no attendance records are lost due to brief connectivity issues.

Can we manage multiple office branches from one account?

Yes. On Pro and Enterprise plans you can create multiple branch locations under a single admin account. Each branch gets its own unique QR code and attendance logs. You can view all branches combined or filter by individual location from the same dashboard.

How secure is our employee attendance data?

All data is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard protocols. QR codes are cryptographically signed and expire on a schedule to prevent replay attacks. Employee data is stored in isolated company-level containers and is never shared across accounts.

Can I export attendance data for payroll processing?

Yes. On Pro and Enterprise plans you can export complete monthly attendance reports as CSV or PDF with one click. The CSV format includes employee ID, name, date, check-in time, check-out time, total hours, and absence flags, structured for direct import into most payroll tools.

What happens if an employee loses their phone or changes devices?

The employee simply downloads the app on their new device and logs in with their existing credentials. Their full attendance history is stored in the cloud and is immediately accessible. The admin can also revoke access from the old device directly from the dashboard.
